Extreme Synthetic Winch Rope 10mm x 29m + Fairlead

Dyneema winch rope has proven itself time and again as the leader of all synthetic winch ropes currently on the market!

But what exactly is Dyneema and why is it better then steel line?

Dyneema is a 12-strand braided rope from DSM's DyneemaŽ SK75 /  SK65 fibres

Dyneema will not kink, curl, or splinter like steel winch line, is over 30% stronger, is one-sixth of the weight of steel, has minimal stretch, is torque free, and has built in UV protection

Our Rope Pack includes:
Blumber Style Splice - 2M Rope Protection Sleeve - Crimped  Drum Lug (90 8)
Protective Heat Shrink Wrap at the Splice and Drum Lug
Alloy Fairlead

Features:
High Breaking Strength - Low Weight - Low Elongation
Better Control - High Safety - Chemical Resistance

Specifications:
Fiber: - Dyneema Sk75 / SK 65 fiber ( produced by DSM, Netherlands)
Resin: - L-Series resin
Spec: - 10mm x 30m
Minimum break force: - 17000 lbs = 7 711.07029 kilograms

Its not just the weight of wire ropes that can be the problem, its the occasional spikes that at the most inopportune moment pierce your hand even through the best of gloves

The advantages of using synthetic rope over wire rope are enormous. Of all the benefits of using Dyneeema, the most important is Safety

Should there be an unfortunate occurrence through poor winching practice with the rope being damaged beyond belief over a sharp edge, yes it could break (so can a tow rope over a bumper!)

However, if our Dyneema does break in an unfortunate scenario, it will not flail. Sure it will jump back a bit, but theres no weight to take it

If the attachment point, shackle or what-have-you parts company with your load or ground anchor, the weight could cause the Dyneema to retract, but nothing like the ferocity of a flying steel rope

And the Dyneema is so very easy to splice if required to effect repairs
