Diff Breather Kit - Double
Cool water causes air in diff to contract, sucking in whatever is near the breather opening: Water-Mud-Dust-Nuclear Waste-Fish Guts-Wee.
Note: If your breather is blocked or too restrictive, the crud can be sucked through the seals-that's really bad!
This kit replaces standard 1/8" BSP poppet type breathers or plugs which are standard on most 4WD's with real air lines fitted with remote high flow filters.
(Or upgrade your home made bodgy fuel filter breathers if you have already gone that way!)
Note: Standard Breathers DO NOT have filters, they are just vents!
This kit has:
1 x Integrated Manifold -BLUE ANODISED ALLOY CNC machined
1 x Stainless Steel M6 Socket Head Cap Screw
4 x Push Fit Fittings 1/8" BSP Threads fit 90% of 4WD's- Corrosion resistant. Threads treated with sealant, no thread tape required
2 x Filters- Funky blue industrial air filters. Repel water
1 x 8 metre Length of Industrial Tube-Extra tube available, just ask
6 x Cable Ties
Industrial Blue Hose is utilised.
CNC Machined Billet Alloy. Integrated Manifold.
Mount on Firewall or in Extreme Conditions On roll bars for RACE LOOK.
These special filters Exclude Moisture & Crud.
Designed, machined, anodised, packaged in Australia.
Beware of cheap nasty kits with ugly fuel filters, sintered bronze filters or no filters and no mounting bracket. Also, watch out for soft household tube which will kink at the slightest touch or perish when oil, fuel or exhaust gas gets on it.
