Operation
 
The BMS1000 Battery Management System Gives Priority charging to the Main Battery and only switches the Auxiliary battery in for charging once the Main battery has achieved 13.5 volts and stabilised for 12 seconds
It will switch out the AUX battery if an over current condition is detected to protect the cables and relay
The system also offers an override function to allow starting from AUX battery if the main battery is flat
The system also alerts (Beeps) if either the Main or AUX battery are being over charged or an under voltage condition occurs
The electronics fully monitors the connection to the relay for short circuits or open circuits in the relay operation wiring and displays an alert if there is a problem, thus guarantee the operation of the system
