Advanced Electronics
 
Fully Automatic operation using advanced electronics and high performance relay. The electronics are rated for tough 4WD conditions and the relay is IP67 rated and fully sealed against dust and water.
High accuracy electronics manage the auxiliary battery for both effective charging and safe starting as well as the unit operation when ignition is on. The main starting battery is always protected and cannot be drained by a load connected to the auxiliary battery.
Electronics are factory calibrated - no adjustments are required for the life of the unit.

Operation
 
The BMS2000 Battery Management System Gives Priority charging to the Main Battery and only switches the Auxiliary battery in for charging once the Main battery has achieved 13.5 volts and stabilised for 12 seconds.
 
It will switch out the AUX battery if an over current condition is detected to protect the cables and relay.
The system also offers an override function to allow starting from AUX battery if the main battery is flat.

The system also alerts (Display turns RED & unit Beeps) if either the Main or AUX battery are being over charged or an under voltage condition occurs.
 
The electronics fully monitors the connection to the relay for short circuits or open circuits in the relay operation wiring and displays an alert if there is a problem, thus guarantee the operation of the system.
